I usually keep myself quite composed and bite my tongue, but I hope you know how grateful I am to have you so far away from me and my life. You are a leech that sucks any life you can out of the people whose hearts burn for you. I wouldn’t even catch fire standing next to you now.

So, I watched the documentary “Forks Over Knives” last night. This documentary examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. That moment when the people you know become the people you knew; and the people you knew become the ones that take the breath out of your lungs.
If you fill my lungs, I’ll fill yours too.

I’ve forgotten the small cries your voice made when I turned my head away from you. Like a small bird searching for its mother, to feed its needs and wants. But a mother bird will nourish its instincts. I was never your instinct.

It was as if she knew he was there the whole time, scattered; torn, she moved her legs slowly from four seats over on the downtown bus. He could smell her perfume but refused to turn his head to her no matter how persistently it pulled her way. He had asked himself many times, “What happens when there are two broken hearts within feet of one another?”. But he soon realized, as he watched the...

So excited to be trip planning. Punta Cana all inclusive is sounding pretty nice for September or October.

There will be individual moments my mind wanders into lost thoughts that were once buried it the cold frozen ground of two winters ago. They linger on my hands expecting me to make something of them.

And I’ll bet you he couldn’t remember what I tasted like, not because it’s difficult to put to his tongue but because he never cared to pay attention, he never savored me in his mouth and turned me around or pushed me up against his teeth to figure me out like I did him. He’d disappear for months…

I've looked everywhere for you. →
every single person you know has something in their life and past that is probably worth collapsing to the ground in an uncontrollably sobbing heap over, so be nice to each other and tell good jokes

The moments when I know we had a joke. Something that curved our lips up at the ends. Our insides, our outsides, we knew then, but I don’t know what to laugh at now; I don’t even know your laugh.

They were monsters. Shadows; the secret lovers that crept out at dusk to kiss the pavement. As the sunk sank down behind the hills, I remembered your shadow, slowly; desperately, tangling in mine.

like a seatbelt
in the middle of winter.
Hurting as you brushed

I wanted your eyes to always back track to mine, but with your head in the clouds, how would we ever stand in the same line?
Everything seemed relevant, but nothing was permanent.
