For some really beautiful photography, follow my friend Kyle. He’s currently studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary. He’s the one that does any of the photographs of myself that are on my tumblr.

I swear you born in the sky, you fell down like heavy snow and covered everything in sight. My boots left prints through you. I swear you were born in the sky, you shone down like sunlight. Kissing my shoulders; warming my face. I swear you were born in the sky, you trickled like rain, wetting my hair. My rain boots saving me from your grace. I swear you were born in the sky.

I might have a dairy allergy. If I do, I’m going to cry. All of my favorite things are dairy; ice cream, cheese, yogurt.

I was recently cast in the show “The Laramie Project” at a college near my house. The play is by Moises Kaufman and the members of the Tectonic Theater Project. It is about the reaction to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. The murder was denounced as a hate crime motivated by homophobia and brought attention to the lack of hate crimes laws in various states,...

Twirling circles in bubbles. My knees poke out of the water —like mountains.  My toes curl around the knobs letting a few more  hot drops submerge into the pool  encasing my body. A deep sigh settles in my chest. Words, yours; ramble through my head.

This past Thursday my two friends and I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and adventured around the city quite a bit. We had lunch on the steps of the Met and explored the many different rooms of art and artifacts, etc. Though our feet were tired from walking over 100 blocks in total throughout the day, we considered the day to be very successful.  I love taking trips to the Met. Some people...

It was a sort of secret; being kissed. You inform a few people, but only one person actually keeps it. Cherished. Safe; hidden in an abundance of somethings that float through everyday moments. I thought of the lips grazed on the lips saved for that one moment where everything aligned to tell that secret. And the rain fell and it sounded as if tap dancers were practicing on the skylight above my...

I have this entire ever-growing idea of one huge story or a long writing piece that connects so many words and thoughts and bits of writing I’ve had lately. I think that there are bits of you in there. I can’t seem to piece it all together perfectly, which I think is a good sign.

eloquentiae: twenty-four hours stirred into a slow-cooker stew of rumpled sheets and missed buses; wind-tunnel avenues and polite applause. a mosaic of heavy sighs stitched together with all my loose ends.

Your muscles stretched across your back in what seemed like the length of your bed. My fingers trickled up and your warmth filled them. Something new but familiar feeling at the same time; how could it be. My own muscles stretched parallel, finding a comfort next to yours.

i laid silently engulfed in a sea of white listening to your sounds. the soft humming of your footsteps, the small clanking of dishes. i could almost hear my thoughts bouncing off of the walls, buzzing in my ears. i laid quietly, unmoving, breathing slowly; i felt safe within your walls.
